Terms
The whole of it, in the order it matters. If you only read one line, read the first one.
The clause
Not ours, and not anyone else’s. Nothing a visitor types into an Usher page, nothing your usher says back, and nothing in your offers, your voice or your settings is used to train, fine-tune, evaluate or improve any machine-learning model — not by us, and not by a third party we hand it to.
Replies are generated by a large language model, and the conversation is sent to the model provider to produce them. That is the only place it goes, it is sent under terms that forbid training on it, and it is not retained by them for that purpose. We do not sell it, licence it, syndicate it, or bundle it into a data product. There is no version of this where your customers’ questions become somebody’s training set.
This is written here so it can be pointed at. An operator can send this page to their own client, and a visitor can read it before they type. A promise that only exists in a sentence under a text box is not one anybody can rely on.
If you are a visitor
So the business can see what people are asking and answer it better. It is stored against a random session id and deleted after 30 days.
If you ask to be emailed something, that address goes to the business’s own CRM. It is never written into the stored transcript.
Usher pages set no cookies of their own and carry no advertising trackers. A business may add their own analytics, and we only allow container ids — never a pasted script.
If you run an usher
A captured lead is written straight to your own CRM and we keep no copy. Your export reads it back out of your CRM, because it was never ours to give back.
Your offers, your leads, your numbers, and your page as a standalone HTML file. In the console, no ticket, no notice period.
Run it on a hostname you own. If you leave, the page you exported is the page your visitors were seeing.
The rest of it
What your usher says comes from what you wrote — your offers, your voice, your guardrails. It can only ever send someone to a link on your own list; it cannot invent one. Keep that list accurate, and do not put anything on it you would not put on your own website.
Keeping it up, keeping it yours, and telling you plainly when something breaks. Usher is in private beta: features change, and we will not pretend a change was always the plan.
Export everything, disconnect your domain, and tell us. We delete your tenant record, your offers and your settings. Transcripts age out on their own within 30 days.
Anything on this page that is not clear enough is a fault in the page. Say so and it gets rewritten.
